Jean Woollard and Carol Pickering (partners associate), have recently completed a 2 year contract to provide an Action- Learning programme for women leaders in Wales. Two cohorts of a total of 32 senior women, from a range of local, central government and other public sector and not-for-profit organisations from across Wales, have taken part in the programme.
The focus has been on addressing the special challenges that face women leadership roles. Feedback from participants has been very positive and those taking part have particularly appreciated the on-going support they have received on the programme from both the tutors and their fellow participants. Indeed, many of those who took part are still meeting regularly to offer each other continued support and challenge.
